Hellooooo!!!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

So sorry I have been so absent from my blog. So much has been going on! We moved to a new home and have not had internet. The internet I do have now is AOL which is dialup and WOW is it SLOW!!! I am pretty sure the fact that it is on my old laptop which was already slow has something to do with it but for some reason I can't connect on my desktop. It just keeps saying there is no dial tone and when it's plugged in, it knocks out my phone. I don't know.  Any suggestions?

Not only did we move but we also decided to take a break from school.  We have taken the whole month of December off.  We're still doing some Christmas activities but nothing major. I will post our next one. I also have had no camera :-( I have not been able to find the correct cord to my camera in order to upload the pictures onto my old ancient laptop that is runninglike snail mail it's soooo stinking slow!

I have some recipes I've been playing with and would like to share.  I can't wait to get real internet...LOL

The new house is WONDERFUL! I absolutely love it.  It is so vintage, it was built in 1953 and still feels very fifties! It has kept me busier though still have some boxes to unpack and trying to figure out where to put the school center.  There is a little nook in our living room that I'm thinking of using.  I wanted to use the spare bedroom but I didn't like the thought of being cooped up in one room in the house. I am thinking if I put them in the "nook" we can still be all together and not cramped into a space and secluded from the rest of the house.  I'll post pictures when I can.

I hope everyone is having a great Christmas! I'm gearing up, this year has been different for us as we haven't been so focused on Santa and presents and I must say it has been a lot less stress! We're still going to let the boys open presents under the tree because it is fun and they look forward to it but I've also been explaining that Christmas is about Jesus...not Santa. They're little so they're having fun but H is loving learning more about Jesus, he's so funny I love him so much!

Well that is all for now! I'm so happy to have finally been able to get on my blog!

God Bless!

Making Your Home A Haven Week 2

I am writing this from my phone as we do not have internet service right now.

Week 1 of the challenge went ok. Besides the fact I got my candle privileges revoked when I left them burning while we werent home. It went pretty good. I usually have a candle burning in my kitchen but adding the prayer was really nice. I have been praying alot more recently.

Week 2's challenge is well a challenge. I have been working on my patience and my harshness for a long time its something i struggle with. I am a product of the environment i was raised in you could say. So in addition to cooling my temper and working on myself i will be lighting candles and praying.

I have even started a prayer journal which I am really excited about.

I hope I get my internet back soon. And you can check out the challenge on the Women Living Well blog. I would post the button but I am on my phone. :(

Thanks for stopping by!

Making My Home A Haven Challenge Week 1

It is week 1 of the Making Your Home a Haven Fall Challenge. Here is this week's challenge: Go buy an extra large candle and light a candle everyday in your home. I will be starting mine in the morning! But you can start yours at dinner time. Do what makes sense for your family. I will be placing mine in the kitchen - the main hub of my home. Each time the candle catches your eye, say a prayer for peace in your home.

I am participating in the Making Your Home a Haven challenge.  Week 1 says to light a candle everyday and pray for peace in your home every time it catches your eye.

I've got my candle lit in the kitchen on the counter.  It's a good smelling candle too. :-)

Reading Courtney's post this morning I asked myself which home am I in? Home #1 or #2.  Realistically I am in Home #1.  I so desperately want to live in a home like #2 but it's taking a lot of will power.  I am so quickly sucked in by my computer or my phone that I neglect my home and my responsibilities.

Sure there is always a good hot meal on the table and the dishes are always done, but the rest of the house? It's pretty sad.  If I spent more time off this computer and phone I'd get a lot more done.  Yesterday I started trashing things that were cluttering up my house.  Clutter that's what it is.

There is an overload of toys, clothes, and mail in my home.  Yeah that's right...mail.  I check the mail open what I need to open and leave the rest on the desk.  There are piles of mail everywhere.  I really need to go through it.

I successfully got rid of a whole lot of toys...so many the boys can actually close their toy box now, next is clothes.  I've got a mountain to fold and put away.  We went through all the closets, dressers, and storage boxes that haven't been unpacked in...a year!!!! UGH!!!!  I definitely don't want all this clutter in the new house so out it goes.

I think my final push of motivation to get this done came yesterday morning.  We raced around the house searching for a shoe.  He had one on and couldn't find the other one...ANYWHERE!  We were late for church and Randy didn't even make it to Sunday School because he couldn't find his shoe.  Oh we still haven't found it!  I was so angry and frustrated.  Not with him but with myself...I took it out on him foolishly.  Even though I knew it wasn't his fault and that I should be the one keeping the house in order and having things ready so we don't have to rush around and be late.  I was so angry with myself my heart hurt.  I was in church crying over the state of my home.

I don't want this anymore, I don't want this kind of chaos and clutter.  I want a clean, organized home.  So off the computer for me.  I'll update on how much I get done today.

Have a blessed day!

Fall Challenge

Starting October 4th, I am going to partcipate in the Making Your Home a Haven Fall 2010 Challenge that Courtney from Womenlivingwell.org is hosting.

I'm excited about this. Right now I am struggling with what my mind knows are my responsibilities and the fact that I have been really really lazy.  I don't know what is going on right now but I am just not wanting to do much of anything. Not only is my house a mess but the general atmosphere and attitude in my home has shifted.  Granted we are moving in a couple months but I still feel like my house should feel like home while we are living here.

If you are interested in participating with me you can check out her blog.  She even has a nice video there of her explaining the challenge. She's so sweet! I'm learning a lot from her posts and her website.

Smells So Yummy...

These are the candles I buy:

They are like $6 at the Wal-Mart and they smell so good! They aren't Yankee Candle or Celebrating Home but they are better I think.  My favorite scents are the seasonal ones they have out right now. The pumpkin and the cranberry frost...yummy. My pumpkin one has been burning all day long and my house smells like fall. I even have the windows open and I can still smell it.

I really LOVE these Febreeze candles. I suggest everyone try them. You won't be disappointed.

Plus they come in little glass jars and when they're done you can wash them out and use the little jar for something. I have some I use as makeup brush holders and even when I make little individual desserts I use these jars...they're adorable.

I'm ready to bake something now..my candle is making me hungry.

Updates

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been around much lately.  Been really busy with pre-school and church and then I was in the hospital for almost a week. Blah it's been a mess!  Anyway I'm working on cleaning all week. My house has gotten out of control and we are going to be moving in a couple months and I'm going through a HUGE clean out of my home. We're having a yard sale this coming Saturday and whatever doesn't get sold is going to Goodwill just as long as it's out of my house lol.  We really have too much stuff!

We are adding 2 new additions to our family also! I'm so excited. We are getting a pony & a puppy! Since we are moving into a smaller house but on a 120 acre farm we'll have plenty of room for animals and I'm super excited.  The pony will be for Hayden he will be 4 in November and I figure this will be a great early birthday present for him. He's going to be so excited!  He's a horse fanatic like his mama!

I wish I could say I'll be decorating for the fall but we really don't have the money for fancy decorations and with us moving soon it'll just be more stuff to pack.  I'm definitely hoping to be decorating the new house for the winter and Christmas! Going to be going to a huge craft show in Pennsylvania also after Thanksgiving so that will get me lots of good decorations!

I have some recipes that I came up with and when I make again I will be taking pictures and posting them here. They were a trial the first go around so the next time I'll post them as they were for sure really very yummy!

Well that's it for now! I promise I'll be posting more often just been really busy but things are slowing down.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit Pockets

Hi Everyone! Thought I'd share a recipe today! I do have a picture but I can't find my camera cord. I have no clue where it is!

I made these this morning to have for Randy for breakfast in the mornings. I'm going to freeze them then figure he can just heat them up in the microwave at work when he gets hungry.  He's not an early morning breakfast lover so me getting up at 5 to make him something in the mornings just wouldn't work for him.  So I figure he can heat these up whenever he's hungry.

I'm on a quest to find things to make from scratch instead of buying processed expensive frozen meals.  I didn't get to do freezer cooking for the month of August but will be doing so in September.  I found that I can get great deals at a local Amish store and also at a butcher shop.  I got 10lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts for $20 which is a good deal around here.  So today I'm going to share something I whipped up this morning.

Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit Pockets

1 can biscuits (next time I'll make my own but wanted to use these up they were in the fridge)
1lb fresh loose breakfast sausage
6 farm fresh eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
-Preheat oven to 350 & grease a baking sheet.
-Brown up loose sausage
-Scramble and cook eggs
-Make your assembly line of biscuits, eggs, sausage & cheese
-Roll out your biscuit to a good size like a mini pie crust
-Place eggs, cheese, and sausage towards one side of the rolled out biscuit
-Fold over the other side to make a little pierogie shape
-Crimp the edges so it won't ooze out
-Place on cookie sheet & repeat until you've used up all your biscuits.
-Bake for 13-18 mins (depending on your biscuit package instructions)
-Take out of the oven and enjoy!
-Let them cool then flash freeze then place in a freezer bag to take out one at a time.
-These can be microwaved wrapped in a paper towel for 60secs depending on your microwave.

Hope you like these! My family is loving them!

I also made these with pb & jelly and also ham & cheese one day for lunches. Little D can hold onto these biscuit pockets a lot easier then a regular sandwich and he's loving them!

Thanks for stopping by!

Coming Home Came Early

Hi Everyone! I know I've been absent lately, a lot has been going on here lately.

I have officially been a SAHM for 1 week now.  I was terminated from my job on a Friday and honestly at first it was kind of a shock but kind of good for us. Even though the weight of "how is my truck payment going to be made?" was added, we honestly feel a bit of relief.  No more worrying who is going to be home with the boys when they're sick, no more worrying who is going to call out, no more worrying about who is going to watch our kids. I felt myself breathe a little.

Last week I was busy running errands and the kids caught a bit of a stomach bug.  This week I am working on planning Hayden's pre-k curriculum and cleaning and organizing the whole house. A big decluttering session is going on this week and will most likely take me all week lol. It's amazing how messy you're house gets when you work full time!

I'm also going to be trying my hand at homemade bread today, I want to be able to make bread from scratch instead of buying at the store. My whole "planning" to be a SAHM was cut short obviously so I'm just going to dive right in on the cutting the budget part.

I also want to tell you some really really good news...I was saved on July 11, 2010 and was baptized for the first time ever in my life yesterday August 1, 2010. YAY!!! I'm so excited. I honestly feel like a new person as cheesy as that may sound.  I'm still learning and growing and working on being a woman of GOD but I can feel a difference in my overall attitude and happiness. It really has been wonderful!

Well that's all for now! I'll be posting an update on how my bread making adventure goes and maybe be posting our pre-k program once it's finalized...yay! I'm honestly so excited about all of this!

Freezer Cooking "WrapUp"

Since its the end of the weekend I figure I'll call it a wrap on my Freezer Cooking Days.

Did I accomplish everything I wanted to accomplish? NOPE! But I had some technical difficulties going for me.

My darn meat didn't want to thaw! I took it all out Friday afternoon and Saturday it was still frozen then Sunday it was still frozen! I couldn't believe it! I ended up putting 1 package of ground beef back in the freezer as it wasn't thawed not even a little bit. My fridge must be cranked up!

I did get to make:

Meatloaf-3x's
Meatballs-2x's
Spaghetti Sauce-4x's

I did get to bake up the 2 fryer chickens and will use them tomorrow to make the chicken & ham casseroles and I plan on putting the whole chicken in the crock pot in the morning probably for dinner tomorrow night and something else with whatever is left over.

I might try this weekend to get the mixes made up and something done with that other ground beef...or I'll save it for next month maybe.

The things I made surprisingly didn't take me long to get everything done so I know I can definitely get it done next month!

Thanks for praying for me and stopping by!

Freezer Cooking Update Day 1

Well I haven't gotten much accomplished today.

On top of the boys both being sick all day none of my meats were thawed out at all...they are still frozen and I've had them on the counter for an hour now. They were all in my fridge since yesterday afternoon...I'm not really sure why they didn't thaw but oh well. What can I do?

I did get some shopping done for last minute things I realized I didn't have and I did a little prep, my red sauce is in the crock pot going to cook on low overnight. I'll be able to use that for lasagna tomorrow. I'll be cooking all day after church in the morning.

I'll post another update tomorrow...pray for me I'll need it!

Thanks for stopping by!

July Freezer Cooking Plan

Yay! It's time for Freezer Cooking Day(s)!!!

I'm so excited to actually do it this month.  Last month I did a couple things but this time I'm committed to doing it all the way.

I've been stocking up on marked down meats for a few weeks now to make sure I had enough to make up a bunch of freezer meals.  The other night I had to break into my ground beef to make spaghetti so I used what was left of the big pack to make 2 meatloaves. That's exciting!!!

I took an inventory of my freezer and based what I'd cook off of that.

So I have:

2lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
2lbs split chicken breasts
2 whole cut fryer chickens
1 whole chicken
2 ham steaks
1lb of chicken tenders
8lbs of ground beef

I plan to make:
chicken pot pies
scalloped potatoes & ham
chicken & ham casseroles
breaded and baked chicken nuggets
meatballs
lasagna
taco bake

I also plan on making some non meat items like:
Spaghetti Sauce
Pizza Pockets
Pizza Dough
Bread & Bread Dough
Muffin Mix
Brownie Mix
Biscuit Mix
Cornbread Mix
"Poptarts"
Pizza Kits
Freezer Waffles

I know that is a lot on my plate but I'm going to utilize the weekend and I hope the rewards will be worth it.

I'll be updating as I go and maybe add some recipes and pictures too :-)

Bible in 90 Days

Bible in 90 Days- join in July 2010

I decided to try to read the Bible in 90 days again. I tried before and then life got in the way I guess you could say.

I signed up over at MomsToolBox.com and printed out the reading schedule.

I am a bit behind, it started July 5th and I need to catch up.  I'm excited and hope I don't get to overwhelmed by it.

I hope you all will follow along in my journey.

Tot School

Tot School

Hayden is 44 months and Devyn is 16 months.

Daycare is really not doing anything for them. You would think them being in a "classroom" setting all day with "teachers" who have degrees they would learn something right?

WRONG!

Very little learning is going on I'm finding out.  On my quest to stay home I have discovered an awesome blog and an awesome program for my boys. Tot School!!!

I think this is great to get Dev started in as he loves to learn and play and Hayden will probably only do Tot School for a few months until he graduates to Pre-K. He's a very fast learner and very smart so he shouldn't have any problems.  He turns 4 in November and I want to do Pre-K before he turns 5 the next year.  In our state he wouldn't start Kindergarten until he is 6 if he goes into the school systems which I don't really think is fair for him, that's like holding him back. I'm really wanting to homeschool him and trying to get Daddy on board with it. I think once we get into it he will realize it's a better option for our children and our family.

So I'm gearing up to start Tot School with my boys and still getting things lined up for when I can come home to my boys for good. I hope I get there soon, every day I'm away from them the harder I want to bang my head on the desk.

We are also trying a new church on Sunday, I want church to be part of our lives and want Daddy to be as into it as I am but he gets so frustrated in places he just doesn't feel welcomed or comfortable in. A lot of the churches we've gone to haven't been very friendly to us being as we are unwed with 2 little ones. I know we will find a place to go soon that we will feel comfortable in. Hopefully Sunday will be the day :-)

This weekend I am doing my first Freezer Cooking Days too...I'm so excited! I will be going through toys and clothes and clearing out my house and trying to do some Freezer Cooking. I have 2 meatloaves in the freezer now that I made up the other night when I made spaghetti and had almost 3 more pounds of ground beef left over from when I made the sauce. It was great I felt like I accomplished something!

I'll post more on my FCD and also how church goes on Sunday.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cutting Back

I know I've been gone for a few weeks, things have been very crazy hectic but I'm back now so hopefully I won't get blog-lazy now...lol

Randy and I are desperately needing for me to return home to be with our boys. Things have gone from bad to worse in the daycare situation, financially and the behavior and happiness of our children.  I know GOD is giving me all kinds of signals and hints and showing me why I need to a full time mom but I'm so hesitant because I don't want to have to struggle any more than we already are.

So in an effort to make things easier when I do finally quit this job and come home to my kids, I'm compiling a list of everything I could make from scratch and save money on.

Here is what I have so far (let me know if you can think of anything else)

Home:
1. Laundry soap
2. Dish soap
3. Dishwasher soap
4. All-Purpose cleaner
5. other household cleaners

Kitchen:
1. baking mixes
2. breads
3. snacks, cookies & cakes (mostly for lunches)

Baby:
1. DIAPERS!-I'm switching Lil D to cloth diapers and I know I can make these myself to save even more money
2. wipes
3. wipe solution

I will also try my hand at making some clothes, towels, UNpaper towels and anything else I can think of along the way.

I'll be posting updates, recipes & pictures and would appreciate any help or advice!

Thanks for stopping by!

Mama's Cooking

I heard something on the radio this morning that made me think about the kind of mother I want to be.

Now I usually am thinking about what kind of mother I want to be, the best mother possible to my little boys.  I'm sure all of us mothers think and feel this way. Always striving to be the best we can be.  Sometimes its hard, challenging, frustrating. Sometimes I get down on myself and start doubting that I am a good mother but then they smile and tell me they love me and I know that I'm doing my best.

This morning, my morning radio station was having people call in and say what they missed from when they were kids and someone said "my mom's cooking" the radio jockey laughed and said "yeah you remember when we were kids and our moms went all out on the meals, all my kids know as mom's cooking is hamburger helper."

This kind of made me sad to think about. I remember my mom's cooking, I still have my mom's cooking. I do believe my mom is one of the best cooks ever. She somehow manages to throw everything together and it taste wonderfully.  I believe I got this from my mom.  I grew up in a household of cooking and baking. Between my mom and my grandmother we were always eating good.

Homemade pierogies, galumpkies, struedels, cobblers, pies, cakes, everything...it was sooo good.

I'm glad that my kids still get to grow up in this kind of environment. I try to cook everything from scratch and I always make sure they have good home cooked meals.  Sometimes we eat out or get pizza but its not often.  My kids love almost everything I make.  I tried to make hamburger helper for them once and it was a disaster. I cooked it right but they did not like it at all. I make homemade cheeseburger macaroni that they love though.

I'm not trying to brag about my cooking skills. I'm not the best but I do strive to make sure that my kids eat healthy and homemade.

I know some mom's struggle with cooking or just don't have time. I'm a busy mom of 2 and work full time, sometimes I'd like to take shortcuts...which is why I'm so enthusiastic about trying the Freezer Cooking. That way my family can still have my homecooked goodness all the time.

I believe if you struggle with cooking there are alot of good resources on the internet and on tv that could give you some good tips and techniques and recipes. I always thought it'd be fun to have "New Mommy/Wife Bootcamp" classes...that's an idea huh?

Check out my Button Mania page, all those blogs/sites have WONDERFUL recipes and cooking tips!

Ok going to go get packing!

Thanks for stopping by!

Camping Checklist

This weekend we are going on our annual camping trip to celebrate Randy's 25th birthday. I am busy busy trying to get things packed up and ready for our excursion.

We will sleep in a tent because we don't have the luxury of a camper and with 2 small kids in the middle of June it can be very trying at times, but well worth it.

Last year was Devyn's first year going camping and we were lucky to have the use of my dad's camper and a/c and tv.  *sigh* how I will miss that camper.

Here is the list I have compiled of things we will be packing for the trip:

1.sheets
2.blankets
3.pillows
4.the tent
5.air mattress
6.clothes
7.shoes
8.shower & bath necessities
9.shower shoes
10.Hayden's potty seat
11.toilet paper
12.cups for Devyn
13.extra pacifiers
14.bible
15.fan
16.extension cords
17.radio
18.phone chargers
19.bicycles
20.sunscreen
21.bug buttons
22.citronella candles
23.bug spray
24.hats
25.towels
26.diapers
27.wipes
28.pack & play
29.stroller
30.food & drinks

I'm sure that's all we will need, we are going with family so we shouldn't have to bring pots & pans etc. We'll be cooking on the grill most of the weekend anyway.  I'll be posting pictures and maybe some camp cookout recipes!

I will try to stay off of Twitter but I am kind of addicted. lol

Thanks for stopping by!!!

June Freezer Cooking

I've been reading LifeAsMOM and MoneySavingMom for over a year now and have always wanted to participate in their freezer cooking (OAMC) days but honestly it's never been in our budget to buy a lot of ingredients to cook a whole lot at one time. We're working on it but not quite there yet.

So this month it happened almost as an accident.  While I didn't spend one day cooking a bunch of freezer meals, I would like to contribute my freezer cooking success from the weekend.

In my freezer I have:

2 meals Hobo Beans (I had leftovers)
1 Chicken Pot Pie filling (I can make the crust in a jiffy or use canned biscuits)
3 bags of frozen cherries that will be made into a pie and some cherry jelly

I know that's not alot but there are 3 meals in there that will greatly help me out in the coming days.

Next month I'm definately doing freezer cooking, I've been putting money aside for one big shopping trip.

Thanks for checking in!

Sundays are for Learning

So I know that it is now Monday but circumstances made it impossible for me to write this yesterday. This will become a regular though, I'm sure as I find my way to GOD.

Yesterday I went to Sunday School at the church and also the Sunday service.

It was great...GOD is soooo good!

I learned about "Living a Blameless Life" We studied 1Timothy Chapter 5 (not sure how that is technically supposed to be written out so I'll do it my way)

God wants believers to live a blameless life, not only for Jesus but because it's the right thing to do.  Our lives are about people.  The elderly men, younger men, elderly women, younger women.  We should treat the elderly men as a father, the younger men as our brother, the elder women as our mother and the younger women as our sister with all purity.

The point of the lesson, I think anyway, was to teach us that our home and family is our responsibility and we should show piety first at home.  That no matter what the circumstances, our children, husbands, significant others are our responsibility.

This struck a cord deep within me. I am currently a work out of the home mom and it kills me. It literally kills me. Every day I'm at work I feel a piece of me die inside. It kills me everytime I drop my boys off at daycare and they cry and cry and cry. All they want is to be with me and I pawn them off with strangers just so that I can go get a paycheck.  Can we live without my paycheck, I fear it would be quite impossible to live on just Randy's salary. It's so hard. I'm at work now and I just want to cry.

Finding my way to GOD is proving more of an emotional battle than I think I'm ready for. The more I read and learn confirms that every part of me that is wrong is also wrong with GOD and it makes me feel so ashamed. What do I do? I want to be saved but I almost feel like my soul is lost. Lost in the wrong turns and misguided information of others. Lost in other people's reactions and thoughts that shouldn't be in my way but are. This same goes for my decision to not work, in many eyes it is wrong for me to not want to work to want to stay home with my kids and be their MOTHER. I'm so ashamed, I'll never regret or be ashamed of my children but I am ashamed that I am an unmarried mother of 2. I feel like all eyes are judging me when I take my children to church.  Yes Randy and I are together and plan on getting married but it's just so wrong to have children and not be married first...right?

I'm rambling now but I needed to vent and get it off of my shoulders...I was really feeling weighed down today.

Thanks for checking in!

My 5-min Summer Face

As a busy working mom of two the last thing on my mind some mornings is putting makeup on. But I have some blemishes and honestly I don't like leaving the house with a bare face.

In the summer time, when it's hot and muggy, no one wants to feel like their face is melting and sometimes piling on product after product trying to get that perfect flawless face can be a challenge when you're sweating.

So when I'm running late for work or a bbq or a day at the beach I like to put these products on just to give me a more "polished" look then just letting my face go naked.

Tinted Moisturizer

I use Mark.'s Get A Tint in ivory/nude. Its a perfect shade for my skin and goes on like a moisturizer with a little coverage to cover those spots on my face. Added bonus it has SPF 15 which will protect your face from that hot sun.

Concealer

On not so good days when my face has some blemishes or redness that the tinted moisturizer won't cover, I put on Mark.'s Good Riddance concealer stick underneath the tinted moisturizer. Just a dab and then blend with your fingers and it will cover those spots or under eye circles.

Blush

I use Mark.'s Cheekblossom Cheek Color Tint. It's a gel that just a little bit on your cheeks gives you that little bit of natural looking blush.

Bronzer

I like Mark.'s Glowdacious Illuminating Powder. It gives me a little bronze and a little shimmer.

Powder/Compact

I like to finish my face with a little powder to set. I use Mark.'s Mattenificent powder with a fluffy brush, just a little all over my face and be sure the pat in the places you put your concealer.  I like the Mattenificent because my face tends to get oily and shiny. I also throw this in my bag for touchups and the mirror.

Eyes

I don't use anything heavy on my eye lids when I'm running around outside in the heat. I like a little shimmer but nothing heavy that might crease or run off of my eye lid.

Mark. just came out with a new eye primer that I love. I put this under a WinkStick and it stays all day.

My favorite WinkStick colors are Coy a shimmery purple and Demure a shimmery ivory color...just a little shimmer to perk up my eyes.

Mascara

I don't use eyeliner every day. I usually just like the little color and some waterproof mascara that's all I need to make my big eyes pop and I don't have to worry about eye liner smudging or running.  Mark. does carry a nice waterproof liquid eyeliner though, in hook-up form, called Get In Line.

My favorite waterproof mascara??? You guessed it...Mark.'s Lash Splash in Black.

I hook this up with my winkstick and throw it in my purse or diaper bag.

And last but not least...Lips

I'm not big on lipstick...I think it doesn't look very good on me and I've tried every shade in the book.  My favorite of all time is Mark.'s Glow Baby Glow hookup lip gloss in Pink Crush it just gives me a little color and gloss but not overpowering lipstick color you know?

Mark. also has a tinted lip balm out that is really nice.  Totally Balmed that's another option if you are more of a "chapstick" kind of mommy...I often times grab for my Totally Balmed.
So there it is...the products I use for a 5-minute summer face. It really does only take me 5 minutes...lol Maybe one day I'll do a video on it.
